The heat pump is a thermal machine that achieves the perfect temperature in any type of premises or enclosure, both in winter and summer, and can also produce hot water in a simple, economical and environmentally friendly way.
The heat pump takes energy from renewable sources, that is, from the natural environment (air, water or land) and transports it into the home.
Because it transports heat from the outside environment (however cold it may be) to the interior of the home or premises to be heated. Its performance is obtained by factors (called ratios) that identify how much heat is transported and how much electrical energy is required to carry out said transport. Similarly, in the case of reversible equipment, it can transport heat in the opposite direction, from the inside to the outside, in which case it cools the room. It allows much more heat to be transported than the energy it consumes, between 3 and 5 times more.
Heat pumps are more energy efficient than traditional systems, as most of the heat comes from the outside ambient and only electricity is needed for heat transfer. A sustainable system that does not require fossil fuels, such as natural gas, propane, fuel oil or pellets. In addition, they can operate for heating, cooling and domestic hot water, making them a versatile option for climates with significant seasonal changes.
Heat pumps have a useful life that depends on the annual operating hours of the equipment. In a residential application, this life is approximately 20 to 25 years. The element that has the greatest wear during operation is the compressor, although its useful life is very long, and it is replaceable by the Technical Service. At Efitherma we are manufacturers of heat pumps that meet all the requirements for a long useful life, we introduce components such as the titanium anode so that the tank does not deteriorate and your heat pump works for much longer.
Yes, the Heat Pump is very easy to integrate with other forms of renewable energy such as photovoltaics.
This process uses much less energy than traditional heating or cooling systems, such as electric boilers or heaters, which generate heat from electricity or by burning fuel. Heat pumps can therefore offer the same or better comfort, but using less energy, making them more efficient and economical in the long run.
Heat pumps require electricity to operate; however, they manage to generate a much higher amount of energy than they consume, which is where savings occur. In other words, they use an amount of electricity that is less than the amount of (renewable) heat energy they capture from the environment, water or land.
